MACHINING
INVESTMENT IN TECHNOLOGY
High volume production coupled with short lead time is deliverable due to investment in equipment such as our multi-pallet Mori-Seiki SH-403 horizontal machining centre. This machine features 3 pallet pool, the axes have rapid traverses of 60 m/min and rapid accelerations of 9 ms-2. The 20k rpm high speed spindle is equipped with through spindle centre coolant jet (6.9MPa). Its Mori MSG-501 controller has Fanuc High Precision Contour Control, and is NURBS & Smooth interpolation enabled.

ENGINEERED SOLUTION
We strive to be innovative in our approach to machining and aim towards an engineered solution to metal removal and process design. We have experience of machining many different materials including those of challenging properties such as high carbon steels, stainless steels, monel nickel alloys. Also, we process more readily machined materials, e.g. from cast irons, and aluminium alloys to thermoplastics.
ONGOING IMPROVEMENT
In 2006 we installed a Hardinge 8/52 Lathe, configured for economic production of medium volumes. Our 2005 Cincinnati Lamb CFV800i vertical machining centre (with Fanuc 18i control and Heidenhain linear scales feedback) is utilised efficiently for small batches. Finishing equipment including a Rosler 1.2m diameter surface finisher, and beadblasting compliment our machining facilities. We will continue our commitment to future advancement in all aspects of our business and are evolving our manufacturing systems, yielding efficient, fast and accountable procedures. We endeavour to become one of the most trusted companies in the industry and to achieve ongoing and stable growth.
